So true. This might get me in trouble, but I honestly prefer the looks of a clean third gen over any generation Camaro made since then. Obviously from a performance stand point it doesn’t stand a chance against the newer ones, but something about the design of this car is so damn cool.

Couldn’t agree more. The 3rd gens engine options where awful, but you cant beat the aggressive look of the 3rd gen. They'er classics, it's a pity its associated with toothless mullet heads.

Fomulas, and early Trans Ams before the bodykits got excessive, were great looking cars.

Seriously, look at that thing. The seats were more comfortable than the Camaros as well. Once Pontiac started with the body kits, I didn’t like the Firebirds at all. Camaros, IMHO, looked good either way.

The best part? A mint, low mileage IROC like this is worth maybe $8k. That’s a bargain, especially if it has the G92 package.

My favorite car ever

I was 17 and bought an ‘85 Iroc with the slightly lighter blue. It was $3,500k with 120K miles but very well taken care of. I loved that car so much, It was always so clean. It had every option, even the rear window wiper. I added a set of BFG G-Force TA tires along with a pair of RK Sport headlight covers. I sold it for school, summer of 1998 in ABQ NM.

I have had much better and faster cars but the Iroc-Z one was my favorite.
